LDY-C/P Surge Protective Device

Application range

LDY-C/P series SPD for control signal are applied to the front-end of control signal system, providing overvoltage protection arising from surge to control signal line or misoperation. (Option from standard IEC61643-21 and GB50343)

Installation instruction

1. The SPD is connected in series between the signal channel and the protected equipment.

2. Connect the input terminal to the signal channel, and the output terminal to the protected equipment.

3. Connect the earthing wire of SPD to the equalizing ring of the surge protection system.

4. The SPD is needless for special maintenance. When it is suspicious of SPD fault in system operation, please dismantle SPD module and then check. If the system recovers normality, SPD has broken down and needs replacement. During replacing SPD module, circuit will not be cut off and be in normal working.
